Fruit and Nuts

Healthy snacks don’t need to be complicated! Nuts (or seeds— like pumpkin— for those with nut allergies) are an excellent food. They not only contain healthy fats, but they are also packed with vitamins and minerals, fiber, and protein! Pair nuts with a fruit to make it easier from overeating nuts— and also provide a sweet and juicy treat to compliment the savory flavor from the nuts. This also makes a great snack to pack for traveling— oranges especially make a great travel fruit since they don’t bruise easily!
