Garlic Dill Roasted Chickpeas
Roasted chickpeas are a great high protein, high fiber snack food! They are a healthy alternative to crackers or chips— and are incredibly easy to make at home. You can also top your salad with the roasted chickpeas— it adds a nice, savory crunch! I first fell in love with roasted chickpeas when I was on a trip in India. Roasted chickpeas were a popular street food— made right there in front of your eyes! Roasted chickpeas became my go-to snack food on day adventures throughout India— and now are a favorite here at home.
There are many different variations you can do to make the roasted chickpeas. Play around with different spices like cumin, chili powder, and cayenne for a spicy hot chickpea— or just stick to the basics with a dash of salt and pepper!
