Banana Nice Cream

Banana Nice Cream is one of my favorite treats! It’s naturally sweet and creamy— and it’s just made with 3 ingredients! Banana nice cream has an incredibly whipped, soft serve like texture without the dairy or added sugars. I love a good vanilla flavor too, so this Nice Cream recipe also serves as a comfort food of mine.

If you have extra nice cream or plan to re-freeze the nice cream here are a few of my tips! Store the leftovers in ice cube trays- this will help make it easier to blend up for next time. Otherwise if you know you want to re-freeze this, add  2 tablespoons of  almond butter (or could use cashews or sunflower butter) OR 2 tablespoons of ground chia seeds when making the recipe. The healthy fats in these ingredients will help to make the ice cream more scoopable after refreezing.

Banana Nice Cream

Ingredients:

3 cups of frozen banana slices

¼ cup unsweetened soymilk  or other dairy-free milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method:

Add all the ingredients to a high-speed blender. Blend on low until the mixture is smooth and creamy. It may be helpful to stop the blender and move around the nice cream to help it blend better. Add an additional 1-2 tablespoon of dairy-free milk, if needed to help it blend better.

Serves 2-3 people
